Join Commisisoner Jim Gibson and the Clark County Department of Parks and Recreation for a celebration of creativity at the beautiful Clark County Wetlands Park! Wetlands Art Day is a free, all-ages event designed to blend environmental education with the local arts scene.

Whether you are a seasoned artist or a family looking for a fun Saturday outing, there is something for everyone to enjoy among the park's scenic trails and wildlife.

 Highlights

  • Artistic Activities: Enjoy Plein Air painting throughout the Nature Preserve, plus specialized art activities for both adults and youth.

  • Live Entertainment: Immerse yourself in the park’s beauty with live music and poetry readings.

  • Tasty Treats: Grab some free street corn from Buddies Golden Munchies (available while supplies last!).

  • Nature Exploration: Discover one of the largest urban wetlands in the Southwest, home to over 300 bird species and unique wildlife like beavers and bobcats.

Are you a painter? We want you!

  • Plein Air Painting: Artists are invited to arrive as early as 9 am to set up and paint the scenic landscape. (Please bring your own supplies).

  • Exhibition Opportunity: All participating artists will be invited to submit their work for the 4th Annual Plein Air Exhibit, running May through July 2026 in the Spotlight on Nature Gallery.
