Join Clark County Wetlands Park and local fire agencies on Saturday, May 9, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM for Smokey Bear's Fire Safety Day, a free event dedicated to fire prevention. From 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, attendees can enjoy interactive games, explore fire engines, escape a simulated house fire, and take photos with Smokey Bear. The fun concludes at 12:00 PM with a special lecture from the Wildland Fire Service discussing wildfires in Southern Nevada.

Clark County Parks and Recreation is seeking performers ages 12 to 17 for its first Youth Theatre summer production. Extended in-person auditions will be held at the Silverado Ranch Community Center on Thursday, May 14, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Youth who cannot make the live audition have the option to submit an online self-tape by 5:00 PM on May 11th.

This special community event honors local seniors with a fully catered, seated dinner followed by an entertaining live show. Seniors 50 and older are invited to join us for an adventurous day trip to "Camp at Alamo" on Wednesday, May 20th, departing from the Cora Coleman Senior Center. For just $5, participants will travel by coach bus to enjoy the fresh country air and choose from activities like archery, conquering the climbing wall, dancing, or relaxing and fishing by the lake. Registration opens April 29th on a first-come, first-served basis, so remember to pack a lunch and secure your spot for a fun-filled day outdoors!
