Clark County Parks and Recreation is proud to present the 8th Annual Tacos and Tamales Festival, a vibrant celebration where culinary excellence, culture, and community converge. This cornerstone spring event promises a "bigger and bolder" experience at the Desert Breeze Events Center this April.

Inspired by the work of Noah Verrier, this seniors' art class focuses on the beauty of the everyday. Participants will explore techniques to transform comfort food into delicious still life masterpieces. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced artist, you are welcome to join this nurturing and creative session.

Dust off your boots and join Clark County Commissioners April Becker and Marilyn Kirkpatrick for The Great Northwest Country Fest on Saturday, April 11, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. This free-admission event at Lone Mountain Equestrian Park features live performances by Jasmine Rayne, Matt Cooper, and Sam Riddle.

Celebrate the season with your loved ones at the Silverado Ranch Community Center on Saturday, April 18, from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Hosted by Commissioner Michael Naft, this magical evening features dinner, music, and dancing for families with children ages 3 and up.

Grab a partner and get ready for a competitive day of fun at the Cornhole Tournament on Thursday, April 30, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Held at the Bob Price Recreation Center, this double-elimination tournament is open to participants ages 50+ and features a blind draw for bracket placement.

Clark County Parks and recreation presents our women-only overnight camp. Includes all outdoor nature activities: Archery, Hikes, Crafts, Yoga, Campfires and more. Participants can choose which activities they would like to attend. Saturdays breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided. However, campers are responsible for their own food, snacks for Friday night, Sunday morning and bedding. Female minors over the age of 12 years old are welcome to participate as long as they're accompanied by a parent or guardian who also is registered for the camp experience. Cost is $90 and it includes all activities, and meals on Saturday. Space is limited!
