🎨 Call for Artists: Become the 2026 Wetlands Park Artist in Residence! 🌿



Are you a creative mind living in Clark County, Nevada, with a passion for nature and community engagement? Clark County Wetlands Park is excited to announce the Call for Artists for the 2026 Artist in Residence (AIR) at the Clark County Wetlands Park!

This unique opportunity invites a local artist to immerse themselves in the rich natural and cultural resources of the Wetlands Park, finding inspiration in its 2,900-acre ecosystem.

The Residency Includes:

  • A $3,400 stipend for your time and work.

  • Creative research time on the Wetlands Park grounds from March 1 to May 1, 2026.

  • The chance to lead one creative workshop for the public.

  • The creation of one original, residency-inspired work of art for the Park's collection.

  • A follow-up solo exhibit at the Park's Spotlight on Nature Gallery in 2027.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate how their creative activities connect with the Park's mission of preservation and enhancement. This is a chance to not only create stunning new work but also to engage directly with the public, sharing your process and inspiring a deeper appreciation for this vital natural resource.
